    @RelievedSheff yeah I know where you’re coming from, don’t need it in my life agreed. I don’t really want to see him postlockdown tbt and def not during - doesn’t stop me being concerned he’s going to wind up unintentionally killing himself or something then feeling guilty about not meeting up. Out of the two of us, I’m the ‘sensible one’ FML.

    This is not even getting into the lack of a temptation to spend haha hoping I’ve just forgotten what that even looks like when things do open ha.

    You shouldn't feel guilty for how he leads his life and for his life choices.

    You have your own life and family to think about right now and getting yourself the help that you need.

    You really do not need the bad influences in your life at the point where you are trying to turn your life around.

    If your mate does end up killing himself it is 100% Not your fault. You cannot force anyone to change they have to want to and by the sound of it he is not ready to do so. If he wants to continue the friendship it is up to him to change and prove it to you. Dont feel guilty over his behaviour he has caused you more than enough problems over the years.

    They need to open schools and nothing else for at least 4 weeks.

    With 2 weeks notice for schools that's at least 6 weeks.

    They can't vaccine kids, they need to prove kids aren't spreading  it to everyone else.

    Can’t live without one mate. Its worth every penny to me lol.

    Possibly need to stop looking at the news went to bed fairly reasonable time but woke a couple of times massively anxious about life going back to normal, weird dreams about failing essentially. I’m still not right thinking about it far too much fleeting moments of thinking I had no problem in the first place can enjoy it socially. Yeah spoken to the professionals about that, know social use not a good idea for me and don’t want to go through the whole cycle of BS again. Def want to stay with the family time post lockdown. JV mate still trying to invite himself over called me this morning apparently never touching it again ha yeah until the weekend probably idk just getting along ok right now Boris can leave the world closed half sad that’s what I need and people are ill and dying, half relieved corona is still here to keep me away. 😆
    It is still early days for you and maybe the continual phone calls from JV mate are not helping you. Fine if he wants to quit too and support you but doesn't sound like you think he means it. I agree with RelievedSheff that there is not going to be any massive changes soon with 12000+ new cases per day. Not sure why people are still getting it in such large numbers but I do think a lot of people are fed up and mixing anyway. Lockdown birthday here for me today :(

    Hope you feel better soon.

    Busy on the work front today. Day gone as planned but whacked now ha, had one of my staff tell me he thought I looked ‘like death’. Yeah really made my day that did then wife telling me I ‘do look old’. Great. Haven’t had a decent night’s sleep in months now, really pleased if I get 5/6 hours at the moment. Still getting through the work day but somewhat regret planning a massive walk on Saturday morning not sure I’m going to be up to that but wife expecting it.

    Unsubscribed from 3 more emails. Don’t get many of these anymore and pleased - 100% don’t need it in my life.

    @RelievedSheff / @ladyholly 100 know where you’re coming from just difficult for me to ignore him tbh. Parents they are either oblivious or just can’t face it. Ex-wife is not interested I’ve actually called her told her she perhaps ought to go and make sure he’s ok but she’s basically said ‘not my problem’. Idk not mine either really. Wife thinks I’m an idiot for talking to him at all. No way can I go up there, not risking that. Need to just keep to the units and nothing else ha.

    @getmore4less I know it’s not happening immediately mate and agreed re kids. Just panicking about it happening at all haha - can do without it but would like son back at school properly, he’s missing his mates video not the same.

    @enthusiasticsaver happy birthday. 🥂

    Not serious about quitting says it every time on the comedown ha same BS never touch it again, not worth it been there myself FML. Just seeing it for what it is, pretty !!!!!! sad really. Think you’re right re covid - I know a lot of people who are just mixing anyway and see it sometimes when out on fee earners so do staff. In-laws won’t even let wife do socially distanced walk because they know she won’t be able to keep 2m away from them and they’re convinced I’m probably going to get it as I do (legitimately) go to all sorts of places. Don’t blame them can see where they’re coming from. Also think older generations who’ve had the jab are just meeting up with family - def happening here know a tenant who’s done that and heard of others. People totally fed up with it now 100%.

    @Onebrokelady haha my RR is nicer than a fair few units round here ha. Can’t even imagine not being able to drive must be a complete !!!!!! nightmare.
