extension leads

Hi

we have sky and virgin for tv
we use sky for all the channels and virgin for the 'free' ones as we signed up for a 3 for £30 offer when we moved in

now, the reason for my post

we are finally moved in - took 8 months to get sorted! - and now i want to move the virgin to the downstairs living room and re-arrange the upstairs room so that sky is in the other corner :o

i do not want to call out virgin, they told me that they would remove the current wiring (which would leave a load of holes as it went from front to back of house  ) and put a new wire into the new room

the sky wire is about 2 metres too short

can i just get an extension lead for each of these?

thankyou
:T Thanks to all lovely MSE'rs - you are great friends :T
