Minimise, restore down & close disappeared from Chrome

It randomly happened a good while ago. I've only just gotten round to asking about it as it's pretty annoying. I googled a few week ago that i had to end one of the running processes to get it back, but this is only temporary. Close down Chrome and open it again and it'll not be showing again.

Not sure why they disappeared. I didn't suddenly add an extension where i could go hang on a second i've just this second made a change so maybe it's that. It just randomly stopped showing the 3 functions in the top right.

How to get them back (permanently)?

Have you tried F11? ALthough that woud hide the tab bar too I think

Is that screenshot the full width of the screen?  It looks like the window has been moved so the RH side is off the screen so you can't see the minimise, close buttons.  You re also missing the menu button to the right of the address bar which is why I think you have moved the Chrome window so the RH side is off the screen.

F11 gets rid of everything

I'm on a PC and haven't messed with any settings.

So how do i get the 3 functions back in the top right?

What happens if you double-click the black bar?

PS - is this a Windows machine? Windows 10?

If i double click it it would be the same as clicking the centre box (restore down). I can't minimise it but i can close it down by right clicking the icon on the taskbar and selecting close.

It's Windows 7.

Double-clicking on the middle of the black bar at the top has the same effect as toggling between Restore and Full Screen. I'm wondering if you're in Restore mode but the browser window size is greater than the screen size.

I'll be honest - i'm not sure what you just said.

I double click it and it restores down but the bar remains black. It doesn't make minimise/close/restore down suddenly appear - it just remains black.

If i bring my cursor up to the very top then it changes from an arrow to an up down arrow. Same as if i move it to the corner it goes to a diagonal arrow. However if i click and drag as though i attempt to re-size then nothing happens.

In which case I don't know ... double-click again should make it full screen, which should make those 3 controls appear at the top-right. But if you've tried that then your issue must be something else. 🤷‍♂️
