The following locations will be now be escalated to areas of national intervention. From Tuesday, residents must not socialise with people outside of their own households, unless they’re in your support bubble. This does not apply to places of work, schools or childcare.
- Birmingham
- Sandwell

I like the sentiment - BUT if we aren’t careful we will be in another national hard lockdown so please don’t complain when/if it happensRyanHello said:and it's totally unenforceable ! I say live your life. Do not let imbeciles in the gov tell you how to live your life!2 -

Mr Chris Whitty said the peak was in April.. so why now are we putting more restrictions in. It's farcical.
The cases are going up because we're testing more... cases also do not mean a positive infection either. The tests pick up dead cells.
If you look at the graph, the curve is flattened and has been for almost two months.

I'm very confused. Sandwell is a part of Brum is it not?poppy12345 said:The following locations will be now be escalated to areas of national intervention. We are almost a month later & that’s just hospital admissions which are slowly rising. The issue is the spread of cases which is now over 3’000 a day. It wasn’t that in AugustRyanHello said:

The majority of positive cases are in the 20-30 age group - who think they are immune/immortal (their parents/grandparents won't be though)
The big concern is if it takes hold in the elderly/vulnerable demographic again - especially with seasonal flu season heading this way

will be interesting to compare with the next update at the start of Oct0 -
What's your expertise in the field?RyanHello said:

Sandwell is not part of Birmingham.1

Yes they can be. It's single adults living alone or single parents with children under 18, can form a support bubble with another household. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-52637354sweetsand said:poppy12345 said:The following locations will be now be escalated to areas of national intervention.
