Tymit - Cannot Transfer Balance

I’ve recently gotten a 0% balance transfer credit card from MBNA. After attempting to balance transfer to my Tymit Credit Card, I was informed they cannot do it because the Tymit Card flags you as a debit card and not a credit card. Does anyone have any advise on what I can do about this?

It’s not a traditional credit card so I think you will struggle. Are MBNA offering you a money transfer? You could do that and use it to pay off Tymit.

Yeah, that’s my second option. I’ve sent a message to Tymit support, so I’ll see what they come back with, but it is looking likely that money transfer is likely to be my best option here.

....But a balance transfer card is not a money transfer one - so if you use the MBNA card you may be charged a fee and interest.

I have a money transfer offer too.

I’m not sure of the correct phrasing. Take the outstanding balance from Tymit and transfer it to MBNA

    That would be “from” then.
    From Tymit to MBNA.

As others have said it’s not “strictly” a credit card - it behaves more like a store card would.
