I have a Nationwide Member card that I got in February it currently has a 0% balance. Just wanted to know if they offer 'good' existing customer BTs. I am able to transfer a balance but the offer is 2.4% fee at the standard APR. Do they offer 0% BTs for existing customers?

  • They offer what you are advertised.

And given you’ve only been a customer since February (7 months) I don’t think that’s long enough to ascertain being a “good” customer.

Customer who have been with them for XX years never really got any preferential treatment or outstanding interests rates on savings etc. compared to what was offered to other customers.

All I was asking if they offer existing customer BTs (12 - 18 month 0%) similar to Barclaycard and Lloyds group cards.
I have been a customer for longer than 7 months, it just the credit card that is 7 month old. - Not that it matters anyway.
  • Yes they do but if you are already in middle of a 0% promo deal -, you will have to wait for them to be able to assess you financially at the end of the term.

Ok thanks have you got an example deal they offer?

It depends as already said on your financial assessment
  • I've had a NW credit card for about 20 years. Had one BT offer in that time [other than the initial one] which I didn't use. Compared to my other cards they don't tend to offer, but they do give a bit of cash back so I keep it. Obviously other people may have different experiences.

    Thanks for the useful information.
