Redact that picture , it has the VRM on it plus it has the PCN reference too

    Name the parking company

Tell us the issue date from the claim form below , it's the top right

Post the redacted picture once the details are redacted

Post the costs breakdown and total being claimed

Email a SAR to the DPO at the parking company and attach a copy of the claim form as proof of I D under the GDPR law

Read the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum , especially reading posts 2 and 5

    EDIT

given that you foolishly posted the full claim form picture on another thread (not your own) , I will filll in some of the blanks below

claim issue date 10 sept 2020

by DCBL on behalf of BANK Parking

total claimed is £242.06 including say £60 or more addon as double recovery (not allowed)

    Amount claimed  £167.06
    court fee ........     £25.00
    Legal Costs ....... £50.00

    Total Amount ..... £242.06

Haha, the POC don't even say how much the parking charge was.  £160 global sum.

What do you need to know that is NOT already covered by the 2 sticky threads at the top of this forum?

NEWBIES THREAD (post #2 all about how to defend and win in court and what happens when)

With a Claim Issue Date of 10th September, you have until Tuesday 29th September to file an Acknowledgment of Service. If possible, do not file an AoS before 16th September, but otherwise, there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

Having filed an AoS, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 13th October 2020 to file your Defence.
That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

    • Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs, and in some cases, cancellation.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up later this year,

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these companies, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

      http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2019/8/contents/of these Private Parking Companies.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

    Very important!!     Urgent!!

@odin81, you must immediately delete that post you have made on another thread.

You have clearly shown to the whole world your Claim Number and your MCOL password.
That allows any unscrupulous person to file a Defence on your behalf. Someone who may not have your best interests at heart.

Having done that, edit your post above to obliterate all personal information from the image... i.e. the vehicle's registration mark.

And don't forget... the tax and mot run out at the end of this month on your BMW.  ;)

If you can't edit your posts using the cog-like button near the top right of your posts, ask a board guide to do it for you.

Board guides for the parking forum are soolin, Crabman, and savvy.
