Gymnastics club refund

My child’s club took the April fees a week before lockdown, I’ve asked for a refund and they have said they are taking it at holiday weeks. I’ve said I don’t agree , where do I legally stand and go about a refund , we have also only used 6 months out of a 12 month membership and are not going back to the club as they are not sorting out a restart
