Jet2 Holidays - Credit Note Partially Used for Another Holiday but Still awaiting Cash Balance

Hi All

Some advice needed:

Our original Jet2Holiday was cancelled and we received a full credit note. (~£4400)
We then immediately booked another holiday to Turkey which was cheaper. The balance of the credit note is approx £1000 and we are still awaiting that cash refund.
Jet2holidays website says the cash balance refund will be paid into the original account used to pay for the holiday but nothing has been received.
Ringing them is difficult with the usual multiple options (except for refund) and hanging on for hours trying to speak to an operator.
Has anyone had success in getting a cash balance refund from a partially used credit note? If so, did you have to chase Jet2 for it.

when was your refund due.  I have the same thing but only from yesterday.  Jet 2 say it can take up to 28 days
