Where best to buy triple A batteries?

1K Posts

Hi all,
Are Duracell batteries really worth the extra money? Theyre about twice as much as other batteries! Also, is there a certain website which is best for buying triple A batteries from, or is Ebay or Amazon the best?
Thanks

Low power stuff like the TV remote or a clock it won't really matter what brand you use. High power stuff like a walkman (I know thats a bit 25 years ago but I can't think of something else I need batteries for!) would be better with higher power better quality batteries.
I use Ikea batteries for most things as almost everything high power nowadays is rechargeable. Its only remote controls, kitchen scales and a few other things that need batteries and they seem fine with the Ikea own-brand.
Just make sure if you aren't using something for months to take batteries out, I've had lots of issues with batteries leaking when not used for a long period.
The things I want to use the batteries on are these little light sensors: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Eufy-Stick-Anywhere-Bedroom-Bathroom-Efficient/dp/B071CFBXXZ/ref=asc_df_B071CFBXXZ/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=256133426109&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=6285799381581883009&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1006707&hvtargid=pla-349940461321&psc=1 and my mouse. So I dont know if these are considered low power. I presume so. I suppose with Duracell youre paying for the brand as much as anything.
