3 quotes for windows

I have had quotes for 7 windows and making one window into French doors in a semi of £7300, £9,330 both from local companies and a quote of £13,000 reduced to £9,800 if I signed up on the day from one of these companies that needs to phone their manager.
Or £6,500 or £5,500 for 8 windows without the French doors.
Where do people get quotes of £500 a window from as I keep getting told that is what they expect to pay?

Windows sales reps and me do not mix . Love the I will call the boss and sign on the line . I have been fitting windows and doors for 35 years .  Pop some sizes or message me a pic and i will give you a ball park what I would charge. I rarely charge 500 a window or if I did there would be small ones for cheaper . Brief description about what materials and colour choice . See if I can help . ( I am north west England ) prices I have found change a lot around from suppliers and areas
