Trying to retrieve bank statements

I am not sure whether this is on the right category. Hoping someone can help or point me in the right place.
In 2012 I had a Debt relief order, I was with Yorkshire Bank at the time , my then branch is now shut, I had an overdraft included with the DRO. As soon as the DRO was granted my bank closed my account without any warning or communication.
Roll forward to the present day, Also included with the DRO was Provident doorstop loans, I am currently claiming for unafforadable loans that were written off within the DRO. It has now been forwarded to the FOS, and they will want bank statements. So the bank statements will be pre 2012 from a branch that is now closed. How do I go about this please & Many thanks.

Write to YB head office and request SAR (GDPR). Easy process really.0

Good advice BUT 12 years ago is a long time ago they might not have the information. Data Protection laws means companies only keep data for as long as required by law or useful to itself.
You may be lucky - just don't hang your hat just yet.1 -

Why not just ring them and ask first. A SAR may not give you statements, just details recorded on your account.
As a rule of thumb 6 years is all most will keep. Especially given changes in ownership.Life in the slow lane0
