Hi,
Anyone have any recommendations for good quality headphones with a built-in microphone for use with Teams/Skype and the like.
They are for work, and will be used nearly every day so don't mind spending a bit of money (not £100s) as long as they are quality and are going to last.
Thanks Paul

1. How long are you expecting to be wearing it in any single session?
2. Are you in an environment where a headset is required (e.g. privacy of calls), or would a speakerphone be an option?
Whilst working from home I'm using a Jabra 510 USB speakerphone in my office/bedroom. I like the option of having freedom to walk around whilst talking as I think better on my feet. The same outcome can be achieved using a Bluetooth headset.
The "go to" headset manufacturer that my company uses is Plantronics. Why not ask your company for their advice?
Will you be recovering this as a business expense? If yes then go for the best unit you can get away with.

Thanks for that info, I will have a look at Plantronics. I would be wearing them working from home, so not necessarily needing headphones for privacy most of the time, but some times my other half would be at home too. I never even thought of a speakerphone, but I think headphones would be better.DoaM said:1. How long are you expecting to be wearing it in any single session?

We have meetings, as they are for work (and expenses paid without taking the Michael as it is a charity), which last anything from 15 minutes to three hours so I guess comfort too would be a consideration.

Plantronics merged with Polycom and are now jointly known as Poly. If you can stretch to it, The Poly Savi DECT wireless headsets are very good and mean you can go for a stroll while on a long call. You can also connect a mobile via Bluetooth.1

We use Plantronics c3220 in work. During lockdown I was wearing one for about 6 hours a day without problem1
