Where to buy a duvet cover

I have been looking for a single duvet cover that's nice and soft and well made,I don't want to spend more that £25 which is the very top of my budget,I have looked in lots of shops and they seem stiff or rough particularly printed ones.I'm just looking for something that doesn't look outrageous, perhaps in a dark brown or navy blue as it's for a man but anyting considered,a pattern would be ok if it looks nice,I look after my mother so I use a single bed at the moment so I can have it in the lounge and be near mums hospital bed,any help appreciated.
Many thanks

I buy all my duvet covers from Soak & sleep. They wash great, iron great and last years, although if you want soft maybe brushed cotton would be better for you?
My friend has had some lovely ones from George at Asda

Hi thanks I ordered one from Dunelm,it seemed to be aimed at teenagers but I thought it was smart, mainly dark but with some colour too so suited me,the reviews are particularly good for it,but I will see when it's delivered,at least the returns are freehttps://www.dunelm.com/product/george-check-duvet-cover-and-pillowcase-set-1000071238?defaultSkuId=30199386

  • I second George at Asda - surprisingly good for the price. Wilko are quite good quality for the money too.
    Make £2025 in 2025 total £241.75/£2025

Hi, just like to say, good choice! I've bought bedding from Dunelm and it is brilliant. Washes well, reasonably priced and is comfy. I once got a lovely single duvet set for £5 in one of their sales -  still being used and it has been washed loads of times but still looks new.

I've also bought throws from there. Very cheap but don't look it and wash and wear really well.

I'm sure you won't be disappointed. (And I wasn't paid to say all these nice things, either!)
