Needing a molecular test result certificate

Hi MSE Users,
Query that I was asked by a family member, their company is requiring a negative molecular test result certificate/ slip for them to return to work. Is this something the NHS offer through their testing or do they need to get this privately?
I am struggling to see information on their website. It doesn't matter if it's on their mobile phone or email, but they need to get a receipt of it as a text and phone call isn't good enough.
Thanks
Jack

It sounds like the company are just using big words to cause confusion.
Why not ask the employer, if they simply get a test from NHS coronavirus tests, will that be accepted?
If the company want something 'special' it is up to the company to at least say where and how that can be obtained and, possibly, to meet the cost.0 -

NHS is a text, or at least that is what my dad got. He or she will have to go private, google "Covid test [insert name of town]" and see what comes up.
Rather odd an employer is asking for this tbh, what industry is this? They really should be paying for it.0 -
I received both a text and an email after my NHS test. My sister paid £195 per person for private testing with a certificate last month prior to her holiday.0

You also get an email from the NHS test0

Matt Hancock has clearly stated people should NOT be using the NHS provision unless they have symptoms.
Does your friend have symptoms?
If not, he goes private and pays and saves the NHS tests for people who actually need them, please.2 -
"Matt Hancock says..." is not a good enough reason to persuade me to do, or not do, anything personally. Blaming the meltdown of the Government's testing system on the people rather than admitting their own failings is what I've come to expect from him. Not a chance I'm making my decisions based on what Hancock says. This is the same man that stated we will be doing 10m tests per day by early 2021, yet right now our 'world leading' testing system cannot even provide tests for those that need one in order earn their living?0
