Com refuse to pay a refund how can I get my money back... Covid-19 is out of my control and I do not believe its my fault I'm in this  situation. If the apartment is still available for you to stay in then you won't be getting a refund sorry.
    That's what insurance is for.
If the apartment is NOT available for you to stay in then you should be able to get a refund (eventually)

If the apartment is open for you and is non refundable then it would be travel insurance which you did not buy.
  • Is this  the case ,even if it was due to covid-19 and our flights were cancelled by the airline

    Thats what insurance is for.

Same as if you broke your legs or something and couldn't travel, if the hotel is open you would still need to pay and then claim on insurance.
  • Nothing in theory stopping you booking replacement flights with a different airline, the accommodation is there to be used and it isnt their problems you can't or won't want to stay there.

when you made your booking you were likely presented with different rates for refundable and non-refundable. If you chose a non-refundable rate and chose not to take any travel insurance to insure against any losses then the loss will be yours.
Some accommodation providers may have waivers during covid times to allow date changes etc but, unless the property is closed then you are not due a refund unless you purchased a refundable rate
