Holiday refund HELP please

my holiday to the Maldives has been cancelled twice ,1st in May now for October. My problem is we agreed to a credit note til December,  now being told it will be March.  We booked  using althams travel,  who used if only . Althams say its not them who are responsible for the refund and if only wont even consider it until we can apply for  our money in march. Where do I stand and how do I get MY money back .we have been fair and patient

I wouldn’t  flap. I think it will just be a simple case of If Only issuing another refund credit note for this second cancelled trip. It will have a longer expiration but if you prefer a cash refund you should be told the process to have the RCN converted to a cash refund. Let Althams work with If Only to sort it out. Both are reputable companies.

The credit note is for the second cancellation to which we agreed til December now if only have changed the agreement to march we didnt agree to that. Althams aren't helping we say they should refund as we paid them they say no its if only . If only wont even let us apply for our money til march. How is this right .
Neither are being very reputable at the moment  .

March is the final cut off date for the RCN to be used or a refund to be provided not necessarily the date they will pay out the refund. Once the RCN has been issued you can ask for it to be converted to a cash refund. It may not be immediate but you won;t have to wait until March 2021.

Althams are correct. They don't refund you - the Operator "If Only" refunds.
