That's the one. Try code 2336.
  • A friend and I are trying to resurrect a rather nice Blaupunkt Melbourne SQR 39 radio/cass from a charity shop. We have powered it up and it turns on, then asked for a code.

We have the serial number BP8465X0984995, but no details of the car it came from.  There is also the number 7 648 465 010 on a label if that means anything. Unfortunately there are no handwritten labels or felt pen code numbers on the case.

Can anybody help with a code please?

Blaupunt radios can be difficult to decode at times.

Other standard numbers to try are 0426 or 4466.

If those codes do not work it may mean it's one of the units that the code is not generated from the serial number by the standard code calculator.

A main dealer or radio specialist may be needed for this one to read the chip in the unit..
