Upcoming Redundancy - Final Date

Hello, I have accepted a redundancy with final date next week. I don't have another job to go to so want to be as prepared as possible. I don't believe I'm entitled to universal credit due to my partner's income but do believe I may be entitled to job seekers 2 allowance, although can't apply for this until my final date of employment. Is there one place where I can find what else I am entitled to please, if anything?!

There are good benefits calculators at EntitledTo.co.uk and Turn2Us.org.uk. Enter the details of your situation into these and it should confirm that you are entitled to Contributions-based JSA, providing you have paid enough NI contributions.
Don't give up hope of finding a job. It is very tough at the moment, but you only need one job and might get lucky and land something quickly.The comments I post are my personal opinion.
