Refused furlough payments

Hi I am an agency chef on payroll with agency with Bolton been put into lockdown have no work so ask the question do I go back onto furlough and they answered no as they have opted out since beginning of August and so I receive nothing they will contact me if work comes in from other areas .any advice please as confused

Do the agency guarantee you any hours of work? If not you need to look at what you might be entitled to claim on a benefits calculator or see if you can find any other employment. Furloughing you would cost them money and if there's no work coming in they are not making it back.
