alliance and leicester card upgrade question

I dont know if anyone can helps

I previously had a visa electron card but alliance and leicester (my bank) has upgraded my card to a visa debit card

This is just a quick question to ask if anyone knows whether this will affect the direct debits i currently have set up on my account ?
The long card number on both is different but the account number is the same

if anyone can help that would be great

They have only changed your card so that will not affect your account at all. What you will have to change is your card number details on any regular payments you may have set up via your card ie. online mobile phone top ups etc.

Thanks dickie i presume its the same premise for paypal etc
This kind of things i can change but loan and credit card direct debits will just stay the same
