Easyjet flights purchased through Edreams

Hi, my mum purchased flights for Easyjet to fly in May 2020 through Edreams. She is now trying to get a refund as the flights were cancelled but Edreams is saying she needs to contact Easyjet as "Since you are travelling with a low cost carrier, we kindly ask that you contact the airline directly to make any additional changes or cancellations to your booking", but she has no account with Easyjet as they weren't purchased with them, so they aren't interested?! Has anyone else had this experience and have any tips or advice as to how to get a refund? Many thanks.

If her contract is with Edreams then it's up to them to refund her - what do the booking terms say and who did the payment go to?0
