Professional indemnity/Public liability/employers liability. Any recommendations?

For whatever reason, over the last few years more and more of my graphic design clients are requiring this type of insurance. I'm currently up for renewal, and my current one is a bit pricey I feel. Does anyone have any recommendations for reasonably priced cover? I'm a one man band with a limited company. Thanks in advance.

Who are you with, and do you deal direct?
Prices have increased massively for most in the last couple of years0 -
Do you want it for your own piece of mind or are you just wanting to tick a box?
There used to be a Zurich policy that was £170 for £1m PI cover but it wasnt retrospective and had holes you could drive a bus sideways through but was valid insurance - remember with PI when the policy lapses so does the cover and so get the Zurich policy today and get a claim tomorrow for something you did last month and there would be no cover under either policy.
My cover is with Hiscox direct but I have a lot of issues because of my line of work so not many to pick from. I do call around each year but after hearing my renewal price most brokers arent interested in quoting as clearly the price is good but PolicyBee this year did take on the challenge and got very close but ultimately the insurer couldn't get comfortable with me not being able to say what projects I'll be taking on in the next 12 months (Im not like an IT guy who can bet his next 5 years will be O365 roll outs)0
