Why does anyone need to be in Chester to give advice? Surely anyone can tell you to use all the comparison sites then check directly with those who don't participate with the comparison companies?

The reason for the high quotes is the area, if I put it back to the old postcode then it halves. I have checked comparison sites but have found in the past checking with the company directly can give a much cheaper price. So I was hoping there was somebody local who has been in the situation who could recommend a company, to save me checking each company individually.

Insurers obviously view your new address as a high risk. Have you checked with a postcode from other parts of the city?

Perhaps it's down to the risk of the car being hit by a stray arrow as stray welshmen get shot at after dark?

    After dark I believe.

All sorted, 1st central came in at 300 under by getting a quote on their site directly.
