the court order informing you of the hearing has the directions on it, possibly on the back ? , telling both parties the deadline for exchanging WS + EXHIBITS and summary costs assessment, usually say 2 weeks prior to the hearing, so read other threads to bone up on the process , like this one

    and this one

there are plenty on the boil at the moment, learn from them

the DEFENCE is not your only job , its the starter for ten in a long drawn out process

please note , there is no S in DEFENCE , check you are using UK spelling on your pc or laptop etc

thge newbies FAQ sticky thread post 2 has a link to what happens and when , I think by Bargepole and another member too, so read those as well

I am worried the OP doesn't know they have to do a WS & evidence by Friday.

I told you already, above. Like ALL the other court claim threads, you must file & serve a WS & evidence not later than 14 days before the hearing (i.e. Friday, like I said above).

The NEWBIES thread tells you about WS & evidence stage.  Your deadlines are in your hearing date letter, in the Directions - check it's not one that wanted your WS & evidence earlier than 14 days.  Hope not.

I already told you how to do this in time as well:

Copy any other UKCPM thread, this is an easy but VITAL Stage of evidence and we have shedloads of UKCPM threads for you to copy!

After I posted that and you read it, surely you went and read some?  If not, that is your task for tomorrow!

Errrm...who was this 'professional' who prepared your defence?

    Solicitor?

Rogue appeals company you should have checked in Trustpilot first?

Tell us who was responsible (company) and show us the defence while you go gen up by reading at least ten UKCPM court threads and see what to copy.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
