I need not have rushed about so early. The engineer came just gone 9.00. He was quite a while tracking the problem down but eventually came back to tell me all is working again, a connection needed replacing. Now awaiting the pesky scammers calling again. I can't say I have missed them!
I ordered 2 pairs of black jeans yesterday and just had a message that they will be delivered today. Good service! I have two black pairs already but they are now looking a bit faded and seen better days. They will replace the scruffy joggers I wear in the house! The weatherman says it will be more autumnal from tomorrow so I am wondering if to do the wardrobe swap in readiness. All the summer stuff I swapped over in April never got worn due to the ongoing solitary confinement. I lived in the same shorts, joggers and t shirts the whole summer!
We seem to have a few missing "members" just now. I hope they are all ok and just too busy busy. x

Morning
Sun is shining like a good un here
Nothing much planned here although the house is looking a bit sorry for itself so may attack that but tomorrow is also plan less so I would hate to steal jobs from then.
well done on the freezer TA its a work in progress for me. Kitchen freezer nearly there then I can transfer the mystical contents of the garage freezer over and do the dreaded defrost. Tonight is a ham soup which I plan to do an onion soup thing with with floating cheesy croutons. I also have to make some mackerel pate for lunches
Have a good day all12 -
Sorry to have been MIA. Life has been a bit odd lately but should be better after this week.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY
You know how you can smack something to get it to work? I wish you could do that to people.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Have trouble remembering how to fly.12 -
Afternoon - jobs done! New tyres on the car, it dented the bank account which is taking a hammering just now. The sling bag I ordered arrived and I'm very pleased with it, it's small enough to be a perfect size and large enough to hold essentials and be hands free. I'm looking forward to using it when walking.I had a couple of banking chores to get done which are now all done too. I started a new book whilst waiting in the garage and it's engaged my interest so I'm going to read on for a couple of hours.MONNA - I've missed your TfD too!10
