On the beach transaction fees

hi, I had a holiday booked with on the beach which was cancelled due to COVID-19
I received a refund of £14.85 for transaction fees (I paid 3 instalments) and have just received the remainder of my refund. This was however minus £14-85
surely I am entitled to the £14.85 back? I also paid £5 atol, should this not also be refunded as it was cancelled

you say you "received a refund of £14.85 for transaction fees" then the remainder of the refund (less the £14.85) as the £14.85 had been already been refunded why would it be due again?rlaughton said:I received a refund of £14.85 for transaction fees (I paid 3 instalments) and have just received the remainder of my refund. It would be due again because the total I paid has been refunded less the £14.85. Basically the final amount is £14.85 short, which is the transaction fee.So £400 in total was paid, including £14.85 fees. £14.85 was refunded initially, leaving £386.15 Yet the final refund was for £366.30. Basically I am still £14.85 short for fees plus £5 atol0

The CAA does not refund the £2.50 ATOL Protection fee, its the government, the money only goes one way!0

And... the agents are entitled to charge a fee. Some seem high but yours seems reasonable.0

I’m not convinced the admin fees would be refundable because they are charged for processing your payment which was done, your holiday price is separate to that additional cost.0
