I’m trying for lots of no spend days this month too. I’ve had 5 so far this month. @rugbymadfamily
Also, don’t beat yourself up too harshly for not fitting in a run. Interview was the right priority to pick! Good luck and hope you hear soon.2 -

Oh man this lockdown is depressing, just miss a little trip to a cafe or pub for a little treat. Obviously staying safe is most important, but it's doing the little things in life I miss most!
But I guess it's good for the bank balance! Apart from food budget....both now WFH again so food shop seems to have exponentially increased despite meal planning 🙈 Never mind, entertainment expense is much reduced so more than offsets it.
Not much to report, job interviews still on-going so keep your fingers crossed for me 🤞 Waiting to find out on this role before I make any big financial decisions.
Husband doing a great job of selling atm, made £90 already selling random bits we no longer use. Saving the money up to do something nice once lockdown is over, maybe dinner out or something....let's see when we get there!

Ooh good luck for the job interviews! I’m missing the gyms and having the kids in school this lockdown. January I would typically be good in the gym until July but this year is a washout already.I know what you mean about the increased food spends. I have 3 kids and a man with a bottomless pit for a stomach and that was the first reason I cried when the schools were announced to be closed because it’s an endless cycle of cooking and cleaning. It’s all swings and roundabouts isn’t it. Save money one way but spend it another xMortgage started August 2020 £69,700

Oh @FtbDreaming I do feel for anyone with kids at the moment, just so difficult. Its only my husband and I, he's been working through and is only now WFH but he doesn't seem to stop eating! I'm with you on the gym, really miss that. Have been trying to get out running, managed 7kms last night which is the furthest I've ever run so was really pleased with myself. Good time to clear the head which is always helpful.
Thanks @South_coast will see where he gets to, he seems to have a lot of enthusiasm for it at the moment which is really nice as he is definitely the spender and I'm the saver so it's really nice for him to be doing something positive for us money wise!Current mortgage (1 Jun 2022): £289,501 - originally £351,999 got to love London sized mortgages!

I'm definitely spending less by not doing Friday post work drinks or lunches out etc (and probably good for the waist line!) but bills have gone up a lot given being home all the time!Current mortgage (1 Jun 2022): £289,501 - originally £351,999 got to love London sized mortgages!
