Selling private/personal registration advice

Good morning,
I have decided that I will no longer want to use the personal registration I have held on retention, and therefore would like to sell.
I have looked at some online dealers, some commission is very high, some isn't reflected, some say no obligation but don't give a quote until you provide lots of information.
Can anybody advise how best to sell? Recommendations? And how to get an accurate quote?

What sort of value of vanity plate are we talking about?
A cheap Nor'n Iron IJZ1234?
Something tenuous and modern-format, MR 51MTH?
Or A1?
If it's the usual cheapy, just chuck it on eBay. If it's one of the rare ones that's actually valuable, sell it through a dealer.1 -
The question is are they giving you cash now... Or adding you to their huge list of numbers available for sale
where it may never sell?
