Hi everyone,
We're back in Yorkshire with L & B and E so laptop time is in short supply, if the young master sees me on it he wants to play with the keys. Anyway, Laura is getting him down for a nap now so I have a few minutes. Not that I have anything scintillating to say.
Chris and Crystal flew off to Rome on Saturday, they are making their way down to the Amalfi coast and Capri, which they love. They are keeping their fingers crossed that Italy stays free from being a quarantine destination this Thursday, that means that they would get back and Chris would be able to go to work, if not he is able to work from home but prefers not to. It's especially galling because he has the antibodies to prove he has had Covid in March but there doesn't seem to be a way he could go back to work.

Well its quite clearly afternoon now
Not being lazy in fact was up at 5 as usual but the day's disappeared as it does sometimes.
Good news here I finally have a gym appointment for next week...unless everything changes again of course. So looking forward to it as I challenge anyone to keep doing the same exercises on their own ....amazing how many experts I have in my friendship groups though lol hearts in the right place but once they start on the "you should.." rhetoric strangely I switch off
Anyway I shall look forward to some expert advice next week and a new environment
Grabbed a packet of smoked mackerel from the freezer. One Ill have with salad and a baguette then Ill whizz the other two into pate
Aiming for fish twice a week at least now which is no real effort for me just means a bit more planning for which I have plenty of time!
Loving the new Jamie programme and debating buying the book but funds not stretching to turn the want into a need yet
Hope MM is out and recovering now
Have a good rest of the day all

Hi everyone
I've been at work , so late having a catch-up. it's been lovely and sunny - but turning very windy now.
Camelot - I read somewhere there was a shortage of new bikes to busy.
Rosy red - I keep meaning to ask what is summer in winter chicken - or is it winter in summer? Sorry my memory is atrocious.
Just had a very nice chicken Kiev for my tea with salad and new potatoes.
Now I'm going to wash up and then finish my Sunday Times.
