Looked at the IFTTT last night emm I recon I’ll be coming back here again ! 🤓

Seriously though and just to be sure.  I’ll probably do the job on a bit by bit basis; can I take it, therefore, that I’ll not have to stick to one manufacturer for the plugs or the switches? That said I suppose staying with one manufacturer will have a few advantages ?

If you use different manufacturers then you may end up with lots of different Apps installed on your phone or other device you used to set them all up and they might have a slightly different process but once it's up and running as long as they work with Alexa (if you use that) or IFTTT then being from different manufacturers won't make any difference in operation.

I have devices from many different manufacturers depending on what it is because i was more concerned in functionality and price than keeping them all the same make.
