Internet Feng Shui Bracelet Scam.

Thanks for your comments.  I purchased these bracelets because I like the styles of the Far East and, normally, I enjoy wearing gemstones.  I did not believe in the Feng Shui but I like the style of it.  When I ordered, I didn’t realise these were available cheaper on eBay (some available from genuine UK sellers).  Have purchased jade from Hong Kong, before, without problem.  Must remember to do my research next time.

Update:
 I sent a screenshot of the web page showing my order.  A member of their support department responded with an apology.  I had to send a photo of the shipping label on the package.  The correct weight of items ordered was shown but contents were incorrect.  I then had to peel off the upper label to show the lower one, hard to do without destroying label (I agree with ‘born-again’s’ comment that retailer is a “drop shipper”: address was in Newcastle-under-Lyme.  I got some advice from Citizens Advice consumer line last week.  Emailed Buddha Power to say I knew my rights under UK law and that a failure to deliver an order was a breach of contract (there’s nowhere on their website that indicates if they are bound by UK law but I tried anyway).  I gave them a deadline of 3rd October to deliver.  They said they’d send my label photos to their fulfilment department.  Finally I received all three bracelets ordered yesterday 12 September.  So, some persistence pays off but shouldn’t be necessary in the first place.  Will resolve to shop more wisely in future.
