Ryanair - Flight in October

Hi,
Apologies if I’ve missed an article on this.
My mum has flights to Spain with Ryanair in October. She has now been informed that her hotel has closed, and will be refunded for that.
Will Ryanair allow a change of flight to another time? Ideally next year? From what I’ve read so far, it only seems to allow changes until the end of this year?
Thanks
Dan

They will, if she pays any change in fare (if applicable) and any change fee (if applicable). No idea what date restrictions are on it though, if she logs in she can do it online and take a look.1

The hotel is now closed in Spain, Ryanair have said that the flight can be moved but only by paying admin fees which are basically the cost of another flight.

does her travel insurance cover her if she does not travel due to FCO advice?0

If mum's insurance won't cover her for FCO advice, she is kind of snookered but if the cost of rebooking exceeds the original I, personally, would sit tight and see what happens? Her flights could well be cancelled at short notice or Ryanair may agree to free transfers. Obviously if they aren't and she loses her money at least she isn't hanging on waiting for another holiday which may or may not happen? She will be able to rebook, preferably a package holiday with a reputable travel agent.dantheman8t5 said:The hotel is now closed in Spain, Ryanair have said that the flight can be moved but only by paying admin fees which are basically the cost of another flight.
Sorry, nobody likes to lose money in any circumstances but this is particularly harsh for those who are willing to go but FCO advise differently.0 -
Hi, thanks for responding, completely understand what you mean. It’s just frustrating that Ryanair are only dropping the change fee for bookings made from June onwards for October flights. This booking was made before the pandemic broke out here in the UK.
Lessons learnt I guess, as EasyJet have been great with me and given the option of a refund or free change of flight.0
