I meant wouldn’t they work out your leave prorota and leave for Dec wouldn’t be included in your calculation?0

Months is not accurate enough and they should not just use full months.Al_Ross said:They used29 / 12 = 2.42
2.42 x 8 = (19.36) 19.5
19.5-13.5 =6
weeks will be 35 and a bit which will take it just over 6 days
The relevant section of the regulations is
https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1998/1833/regulation/14
What they don't define is how you calculate B and contract can override

Ah.ha I asked for a copy of my current contract last week.HR sent me an out of date, unsigned one, but it does have my name on it and it says my holiday entitlement is 33 days,
So, I was about to get shafted by HR. Not a huge difference works out one day’s holiday about £100, when you are put out of work with no new job on the horizon, every penny counts

Or they included Dec 25/26th and Jan 1st/2nd in it?0
-
No, they haven’t, they have used 29 days as my holiday entitlement for the year rather than 33 days as per my contract.

But don't forget the 13.5 taken goes up to 15.5 taken(Jan 1&2)Al_Ross said:No, they haven’t, they have used 29 days as my holiday entitlement for the year rather than 33 days as per my contract.
