Magic Corner Unit - Clicking!

My magic corner unit makes a very loud clicking noise as I start to open the cupboard. I have tried manually re-setting the large grey plastic spring at the back of the unit but sadly this does not resolve it. Does anyone know how I can repair it?

Photos, details of the manufacturer and model would probably help here.1

How old is the kitchen? Is this something that could reasonably be covered under the warranty? No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.1 -
Kitchen was fitted in 2007. Supplier now ceased trading. Magic Corner frame is labelled LGA. If I lift Cupboard door slightly before opening it does not click. However I cannot see a way of adjusting the door to raise it.
