Swiftcover car insurance

Anyone had any dealings with Swiftcover car insurance? I've recently done a search via one of the links on MSE for insurance on my daughters VW Beetle and they were by far the cheapest by nearly £100. I believe that they're internet only ie documents printed on line etc, but what are they like if you have to make a claim?

Check on ciao.co.uk for insurance reviews.
They don't have good reputation following a claim.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0 -
Thanks Movilogo, read the reviews, says it all really!0

Well I'm with them and I've had my car wrecked yesterday. To be honest I think they are all a much of a muchness. No complaints so far but watch this space lol!0

I'm afraid from bitter experience I just assume that they're all going to be rubbish in the event of a claim and so the lowest premium is the only real differentiator.
I use Swiftcover for my OH and being able to chaneg policy details online is a very welcome change from speaking to someone (who'll doubtless try to sell you an unrequired add-on).
Hmm, I sound bitter grumpy and anti-social but insurance companies will do that to a man ....My eyes! The goggles do nothing!0 -
I'm with swiftcover until next month so will start shopping round soon. I have not had to make a claim so far so do not know how they would handle this but I think there could be problems should I wish to change companies next month as swiftcover are internet only. Some companies do not accept documents you print off yourself as proof of no claims so I will probably leave them anyway as I still have a no claims certificate from the insurer I was with previously.0

It's all becoming a bit blurry isn't it? I notice that if I print my Amex bill off (company not my own) it is almost 100% the same as the original that they send. A lot of companies don't seem to use letter headed papaer now and print their output directly with each letter, making it more copiable. My eyes! The goggles do nothing!0
