Hilton Honours points - letting partner use some of them ?

Hi all,

Quick question, i have a decent stash of HH points, my wife is planning a 2 night break with our daughter for a birthday / girlie weekend etc. ( in UK )

I obviously wont be there, but could i book the hotel for them with my points ?  Presumably booking would have to be in my name, and i dont want them having grief if i am not there..

Anyone done this ?

I've done this before, without any problems. I did just in case ring the hotel to inform them, and even left my card to be charged for any room service etc/
