There is the issue of what happens if the internet goes down. If it's a residential phone line/connection then it may take a while to fix it. Business lines typically have a Service Level Agreement, which unsurprisingly, is a bit helpful if you're running a business/using it for business and want to minimize downtime.gettingtheresometime said:Rather than get a landline installed why not suggest getting a virtual landline ?We've got an internet based number which works off an app so theoretically so long as there's an internet signal you can answer / make calls & customers don't know the difference (you can geographical numbers)
May even be cheaper & quicker to organise.
i can point you to the company we use but don't want to breach any advertising rules1 -
This is very true but with it being internet based if your home internet goes down then you can decamp to somewhere there is an internet signal - we've occasionally been caught out when on holiday as we've not turned the out of hours service on!potatocake67 said:
