    OP, its possible they declined to continue the policy as stated in the renewal letter as that quote is now out of date.  Did you ask for a new quote?

    You’re making this up, and not well.
    I imagine the rest of us believe the refusal of Tesco was owing to the lack of SORN and nothing to do with suspending the insurance
    The former is plusable  the latter is absurd
