Been furloughed but sick whilst furloughed advice

Hi,
ive been furloughed since March 22nd.  Had very poor and hardly communication from my employer since this date.  (Employers and business is a my relatives business) Only once a month letter in my wage slip received in the post saying still furloughed. 

Have emailed few times to ask when I’ll be back to be told still furloughed. 

I’ve worked for them for 28 years. 

My few questions are :- 
I was poorly (in hospital for 5 days) should I have notified them still even though I was furloughed?
Also if the company goes bust, administration etc will I still get furloughed payment?  

If I do will it be up to the Date the company goes or will it go to end if September?

Whilst it's not great at least once a month they are being in touch, I'd be looking at other roles just in case they chose to make you redundant.

I'd advise against telling them now it's past you will ill, technically they can call you back with reasonable notice so it could of been an issue, but since you've been paid furlough just forget it.
