Refunds for ULEZ charge paid in error

I had driven from E7 to Kings Cross being navigated by Google Maps so after your last message I checked the route and the zone excludes where you are forced left before turning right towards Kings Cross. So I'm OK, I thought. But now I've received two penalty notices, one for CC and one for ULEZ. And that's because Google Maps does not turn you right into Swinton Street but takes you a few metres further to stay on the A501. 

They must nab dozens, maybe hundreds of people every day by not extending the zone to continue tracking the A501. But then I guess Sadiq Khan has to pay for the office Christmas party somehow.

Edit: I was thinking "that's a long road for a short cut" but found on Gmaps that only buses and cycles can go straight on ... cars etc. have to take the detour.

Go back up the road, too. There are four other signs or (C) markings on the road even before you get to the junction itself.
