Clearly those bloody great big signs are not so hard to miss so put this message down to letting off steam. I had driven from E7 to Kings Cross being navigated by Google Maps so after your last message I checked the route and the zone excludes where you are forced left before turning right towards Kings Cross. So I'm OK, I thought. But now I've received two penalty notices, one for CC and one for ULEZ. And that's because Google Maps does not turn you right into Swinton Street but takes you a few metres further to stay on the A501.AdrianC said:

They must nab dozens, maybe hundreds of people every day by not extending the zone to continue tracking the A501. But then I guess Sadiq Khan has to pay for the office Christmas party somehow.

Also known as ... looking at the satnav screen instead of what's around you.
Edit: I was thinking "that's a long road for a short cut"
but found on Gmaps that only buses and cycles can go straight on ... cars etc. have to take the detour. 0 -
pretty impossible not to notice.0

Go back up the road, too. There are four other signs or (C) markings on the road even before you get to the junction itself.0
