Yes, you reported a worsening of condition and sent evidence to support this and this is why you're being assessed again. This will happen every time you report a change of circumstances. Not all changes of circumstances need to be reported, especially when it comes to PIP. You can't expect to report a change of circumstances and not be reassessed. The phone call is the assessment, which has taken the place of the face to face assessments because they are still currently suspended. Your existing PIP award will continue until a decision's been made on this change of circumstances. As always, if you're not happy once the decision's been made then you'll have 1 month from that date to request the Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) Hopefully it won't come to this and you'll be awarded successfully. My other advice for the future is to think before you report a change of circumstances.1

No problem. A week after the assessment, if you live in the UK you can ring DWP to request a copy of the assessment report to be sent to you, this will give you some idea what the assessment is likely to be because they mostly go with the report.

Amazed by timescales you mention here. I applied for PIP December 2019 and only had my telephone assessment in August. I was successful in my claim and it has been back dated to last December now, nice little windfall.
one thing in report I couldn’t believe was comment under daily living, that whilst I needed aids,I had already purchased these so didn’t require extra support!
Only got reduced rate for that section but enhanced mobility.0 -

The other thing is (that people seem to forget) that aids need maintenance and replacement over time. Depending on the aid it's probably not as expensive as paying someone to supervise you, but many of them are not things that once purchased will last forever!0
