Drill bit for metal

Hi I am looking for a decent drill bit to drill out metal + head screws in decking ideally a 6mm or 8 mm bit
I have tried these and they are now blunt after drilling some out.

I suspect that the drills that you have purchased are more suited to drilling masonery , just buy some normal HSS drill bits ,just google screwfix ,toolstation etc and search for HSS drill bits and buy a couple of each size ,should be cheap.

I've tried many HSS metal bits. I've found the best for most applications are the Milwaukee Thunderweb.range.

Decking screws will be a hardened, high tensile steel. You will struggle to find a decent drill bit that will last.

I would suggest a solid carbide bit, but these are brittle and not really suitable for use in a pistol drill. They also work best with a liberal dose of cutting fluid, as do HSS bits.
