Smart meters
Options
Hello today EDF was going to fit a smart meter but due to where my electric meter was situated could not.Having been advised to ring them by engineer because it was not my fault instalation could not take place . EDF were very good and allowed me to keep my new and cheaper yearly fix with them .But it dawned on me more energy companies expect you to have a smart meter .As a result of the goverment saying that by 2023 all customers should be offerd one .So as i cannot have a meter fitted would i lose out on cheaper deals. After speaking to some peoplein the know. It would seem this could be the case in the futre. It is a problem the goverment and energy suppliers may not have taken into account so much for equality in energy one to watch i think martin. i must say EDF was very helpful resolving my isssue
