Hi there.
Easyjet are continuing to sell seats on cancelled flights. This practice is ongoing despite assurances From Easyjet about a report in a tabloid paper from in August that it was a one off.

In February this year I booked 2 seats to fly to Glasgow from Gatwick on 1st October at a cost of £140. Today I recieved an email saying this flight was cancelled. I duly re booked for the day before which has incurred the cost of an extra nights hotel stay and has disrupted my trip.
The original (cancelled flight) is Still for sale and today would cost me £38 less.!
I'm my mind this amounts to criminal deception as money is being obtained under the false pretence there is actually a flight.
I contacted Easyjet who stated this was a "technical error" and they confirmed that the original flight has been cancelled.

I hope this can be raised and highlighted again as it stinks of corporate criminality.
Many thanks.
Steve McQueenie.

If you can prove your original flight is going ahead and you have the confirmation telling you it has been cancelled then I think you have a case against EasyJet for out of pocket expenses. Keep looking and logging and provide evidence. If they refute your allegations you may have to take to small claims court but if you have all the evidence you are likely to win.0

Which was your cancelled flight?
They still are operating two LGW GLA services on 01 October according to their website. One in the morning at 09:15 and one later in the day at 16:000
