Didn't know my Dad had paid for a funeral plan!

My Dad passed away a few weeks ago and myself and my sisters got on with arranging his funeral.
Having never had to do this before and completely clueless as well as the shock and grief etc we only came across a Dignity funeral plan the other day whilst going through his things to gather together documents for his solicitor.
Is there any way we can claim the money or part of the money he paid back?
I don't feel like phoning them at the moment.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

It will be contained within the plan details (T&Cs) as to whether you can make a retrospective claim or not. If you can find a copy of the plan details, you may be able to establish that this is possible or that it is ruled out.
I appreciate that you won't feel able to call them at the moment, so perhaps a friend investigate the plan for you?The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0 -
Thank you. I haven't as yet looked at the details, but will have a look soon.0

Understandable that you don't feel like phoning them, but as you felt able to post an e-mail here, could you not message them to enquire: https://www.dignityfunerals.co.uk/contact-us/janire said:My Dad passed away a few weeks ago and myself and my sisters got on with arranging his funeral.

JanGoogling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!2 -
Thank you, I think I will do this, it feels much easier.0
