Help with two Ipods, two boys and one PC

Please can someone advise the best way around two sons having an Ipod Video each (for Christmas) and being able to use one PC for Itunes.

Do they each need an Itune account?

If I want to put some Roald Dahl CDs onto each Ipod what would be the quickest way to do it.

Just want to be able to easily sync each Ipod.

    Have a look here

Or set up two user accounts on the computer

Copy the Roald Dahl CD's into iTunes as a play list , then just drag the play list into the iPod icon for each of the iPods
  • One i tunes account will do it,
in itunes make them a folder each and drag across the music into that folder that they want from the itunes liberary.
Make sure each ipod is set when you set it up to manually manage music.
when you connect the ipod drag the correct folder into that ipod

You run a single version of itunes on your PC. itunes will create a single library of all your family music.

When you connect each ipod to your PC itunes will recogbnise it and open itunes. You can give your ipods meaningfull descriptions i.e Fredsipod. Once recognised the ipod will show up as a device in the itunes LH pane. You can create playlists for each user i.e Freds Music and then drag and drop that users music into their playlist.

Playlist can be dragged and dropped into whatever ipod you choose. Just make sure itunes is set to manually update ipods in the preferences.
