I  put a V in my two front teeth at 22,had crowns fitted on those and one of the adjacent teeth and touch wood, they have lasted until 41.

The really terrible pains have slacked off now, thank goodness.

It hurts if his teeth “clang” together. He keeps doing this accidentally as Big Tooth has been pushed back so isn’t where he expects it to be!

    Dentist appointment 2 today!

Both dentists had a look and a fresh x ray taken. They want Little Tooth to be extracted, but can’t do it there as it would need breaking up to get it out. Big Tooth is dead/dying (hence the pain) so they want to do a root canal but can’t due to Corona! Big Tooth will be crowned and Little Tooth will be replaced with a bridge.

Although unable to do what they wanted today, much daubing was done and now he looks pretty good!

New false bit of big tooth fell off after 2 days. Still lots of pain and still no treatment available.

    Dentist appointment number 3 today!
Big Tooth is dead and pain free. Apart from being pushed backwards slightly and losing the bottom few mm, it looks OK.

Little Tooth is no more! Despite having the nerve pulled out on Day 1 and various patchings, the pain from it had increased until it got to a ridiculous level and was triggered by eating, drinking, talking, breathing... It was extracted this morning. It actually pulled out nice and cleanly (the dentist really wanted to refer him to hospital). The pain causing part was a shard of tooth that had separated and had been jiggling about in his gum. That was extracted along with Little Tooth.

Son is now lying in bed (this is absolutely unheard of) and feeling rather knocked about. He is looking forward to becoming painfree in a couple of days. The stitches are out of his chin and his nose is the last bit to heal up.
