Redundancy pay?- offered a new contract but already have another job

    By default you will be leaving the company. Non acceptance of the new contract offered amounts to a resignation.

    Although I'm a bit confused as to why it would be redundancy anyway if you're on a fixed term contract which has come to an end. 
    Because it is a redundancy if the role no longer exists regardless of it it's a FTC... FTCs are basically permanent employees with an end date!
  • If you have been offered a suitable alternative role and you decline it then you aren't entitled to your payment because you are no longer redundant. It's your choice to take up the new position or not where you will be resigning.
