Where do you buy your clumping cat litter?

We have usually always bought our cat litter from Morrisons but for the last year so it has been a nightmare with constant stock problems, smaller bags and hiked prices.
Can anyone share experiences with brands/suppliers they or their cats like? The ones from Wilko and Tesco look ok, but this stuff is starting to get so damn expensive and is awkward to buy due to the weight and constantly going in and out of stock?
So cat lovers, what's your cat litter situation?! Do you always get the clumping product?

I buy catsan from Costco, only worth doing if you are a member and don't have to travel miles to your nearest warehouse.
  • Catsan is the best I’ve tried. Some of the others stank after a day, or they were too dusty or just didn’t absorb anything. (Or cover anything). Cat dislikes all but Catsan as well.

I use the Tesco clumping litter (my store doesn't sell the odour control kind, just regular clumping) mostly for convenience, and I think it's fine. I get a weekly food delivery from Tesco, so I don't have to worry about lugging it home. The litter clumps well, there's never anything stuck to the bottom of the trays and any stink isn't really an issue as the boxes are in a rarely used conservatory. You occasionally get a waft in an adjoining room immediately after, but it disappates in a minute or so.

The cats like it just fine, much better than any of the more eco friendly wood based ones I tried anyways! I will say that the bags are a bit hit and miss (sometimes the litter is a bit fine and dusty, presumably from being bashed around), but overall I'm happy enough with it.

Cat's Best from Pets at Home.  We have a local branch, but they do home delivery if needed.
  • We get ours from Waitrose along with the groceries. Excellent clumping, no smell, the cat likes it. Occasional supply issues so I keep a bag in reserve.

We were using Oko Smart Pellets from Zooplus, but got a bit fed up of bits tracking over the house. These are pellets, and quite lightweight.

We got Cats Best (the red one) from Amazon and we liked it. No visible tracking out of the utility, clumps brilliantly, cats seemed happy until one of them wasn't. He does big wees and I think he managed to get his feet wet a couple of times as the urine spread outwards rather than just down (no matter how deep the litter), which prompted him to start pooing on the front door mat in disgust.

I bought a bag of Ever Clean Multiple Cat Litter from Amazon at the start of this week, as it was the clumping one we could get delivered same day. So far so good, it clumps well, barely tracks, both cats are preferring to use the litter tray with this in, rather than the two containing Cats Best. It's a similar small-granule texture, but I think it's a bit heavier and it appears to be doing a better job of taking the urine down rather than across. I'll be interested to see how long a box lasts us though as it's not the cheapest.

Cats Best from Zooplus. Zooplus is the cheapest I've found it. It's expensive, but it lasts a long time.

I like the Tesco ultra clumping with odour control. The particles are fine enough for my cat's tender feet, it clumps very well and doesn't smell. If only it wasn't packaged in single-use plastic, it would be perfect!
    It's not difficult!
